What we are looking for?

A tenacious and professional individual with creative flair and a can-do attitude to join our global Marketing team. The candidate ideally holds a personal interest for family history and is familiar with the genealogy market. A solid understanding and proven experience of working with social media or as a community manager are preferable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential qualities. Job is suitable for working from home and candidate should reside in the US. Travel and flexible working hours may be required.?

About the job: Your job title will be Community Manager for the USA.

Your responsibilities will include creating, planning and executing marketing activities for the US market, particularly community outreach, forging commercial and media partnerships, event organization and participation, and public relations support.

What you should have:

?Outstanding writing skills ? journalistic or copywriting experience is beneficial

?Knowledge about the Internet, social networking, web 2.0. Proven experience with blogging, Facebook and Twitter.

?Entrepreneurial thinking and a focus on getting things done

???? Excellent written and oral communications skills.

??? ?Deep understanding of the online needs of modern families

?Up-to-date knowledge of the US media landscape

?An interest in genealogy and family history
