Eclectic Mondo Hosts Discover Arts - Summit NJ News - The ...

SUMMIT, NJ - MONDO Summit hosted Culinary Arts & Healing Day Monday,?featuring many talents of those who are a part of the unique space.??The MONDO Summit building is a four story vertical mall.??The 94-year-old brick building is dedicated to the arts of all kinds including craftsmanship, culinary arts, visual arts, performing arts, and literary arts.Their theme, ?Eat, Shop, Play? worked perfectly for guests who attended the event.

Annette Dwyer is the Creator of MONDO in Summit.??She said, ?This is the first year for the public to experience a signature event by MONDO.??We hope that everyone will enjoy the experience to share in the richness of our arts.?

Mary Cummins of Marigolds Caf? offered the guests samples of her cold summer soup, Gazpacho, prepared with signature spices and chopped cucumber. ?This is the first time we are having this type of event, and we hope to have many more,? Cummins said.

Alex Shipman of the Summit Yoga Studio is pleased to be a member of the Summit business community and to conduct classes at MONDO.??He has been in town since 1999 and said that it is ?an amazing, thriving town.? ?MONDO also features an eclectic variety of artists? work.???Currently on display are pieces by Yolanda Fundora, Michelle Tommasso, Mary Jean Canziani, and Steve Fleisch. ?Paul Fessock operates ?World of Rock? which has music lessons and more at MONDO.??He has been a teacher at Summit?s Brayton School for the past 13 years.??He is pleased to both teach and operate a business locally.??He said, ?It?s a great town.?
